Duratec RWD Alternator Kit (D016)

RWD alternator kit for Ford Duratec HE and Mazda MZR engines.

Locates the alternator on the exhaust side of the engine and provides the required mounting and belt tensioning arrangement for rear wheel drive conversions.

• Suitable for Duratec HE / Mazda MZR RWD conversions
• Originally designed for engines using the 146mm trigger wheel
• Commonly used on 2.0L and 2.3L engines
• Can also be used on engines with the larger 164mm trigger wheel when fitted with our D069 164mm Trigger Wheel Crankshaft Pulley

Later Duratec and MZR engines, including many 2.5L versions and some 2.3L engines, use the larger 164mm trigger wheel.

Depending on the engine and original vehicle application, these 164mm versions may be fitted with either a twin 4PK crank pulley or a single 6PK crank pulley.

If your engine has the 164mm trigger wheel, our D069 164mm Trigger Wheel Crankshaft Pulley provides the correct single 6PK pulley arrangement for use with the D016 alternator kit.

Important: Please measure the diameter of your existing trigger wheel before ordering. Duratec and MZR engines were produced with several different crank pulley arrangements, so engine capacity, vehicle model or original belt arrangement alone should not be used to identify the correct version.
