Heavy-duty two-piece propshaft for fitting a Ford Zetec engine with a Mazda MX5 N7 gearbox into a MK1 or MK2 Cortina retaining the original Cortina steering box setup.
Due to the distance between the gearbox and differential in the Cortina, Retroford uses a two-piece propshaft incorporating a centre bearing. This helps eliminate the propshaft whip and vibration that can occur when using a single-piece propshaft over this length.
IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE: This propshaft is designed specifically for MK1 and MK2 Cortinas retaining the original Cortina steering box setup. It is not suitable for cars converted to rack and pinion steering.
DIFFERENTIAL FLANGE: This propshaft is supplied to suit the 86mm small-flange Cortina differential. Please check your differential flange size before ordering.
