MK1 Cortina Steering Box MX5 N7 Gearstick Surround and Tunnel Infill Plate Kit (MX5-043)

Designed for fitting a Mazda MX5 N7 five-speed gearbox into a MK1 Cortina while retaining the original steering box setup.

This kit combines the two-piece gearstick surround with the gearbox tunnel infill plate to finish the gearbox tunnel around the N7 gearbox and gearstick position.

Kit includes:

• 1 x MX5-042-BOTTOM – Gearstick surround bottom panel
• 1 x MX5-042-TOP – Gearstick surround top panel
• 1 x DRT016 – Gearstick gaiter ring
• 4 x 8979H – Zinc plated 8 x 1/2" flange head self-tapping screws
• 1 x MX5-018 – MK1 Cortina MX5 N7 gearbox tunnel infill plate

The supplied gearstick surround parts require welding into place. This is not a ready-to-fit kit.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE: This kit is only suitable for MK1 Cortina cars retaining the original steering box. It is not suitable for rack and pinion converted cars.
