MK1/MK2 Escort RS OE Spec Front Struts – Pair (SS072)

Brand-new OE specification RS front struts for Mk1 and Mk2 Ford Escort applications, with additional fitment for Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3 Ford Capri models.

Ideal for replacing worn or damaged original RS struts or upgrading a standard Escort to the RS-type front strut setup.

Manufactured from new tooling, these strut legs use an OE-style fixed spring platform and are designed to be used with standard diameter front springs.

These are Escort RS OE specification struts. The fixed spring platform is positioned approximately 1 inch lower than the spring platform on an OE Capri strut.

The struts are supplied with the correct insert retaining nuts. These retaining nuts are specific to this strut design and are not interchangeable with alternative types. Because of this, Bilstein inserts cannot be used with these struts.

*Important fitment note: Capri 3.0 models and standard non-RS Escorts require a non-3.0 Capri or RS Escort type hub and brake disc arrangement when using these struts.

Standard Mk2 Escort: when converting a standard Mk2 Escort to this RS-type strut setup, RS2000 track rod ends must also be used.

Supplied as two bare strut legs only. Damper inserts, springs, hubs, wheel bearings, steering arms, brakes and other suspension components are not included unless specifically stated.
