SPAX TAG1178 Adjustable Front Strut Inserts – Mk2 Cortina Series 2 (Pair)

SPAX 28-stage adjustable front strut inserts for the Ford Mk2 Cortina using the later Series 2 solid-rubber type top mounting and smaller damper spindle arrangement.

The TAG1178 is a dry cartridge insert which replaces the original wet/oil-filled damper inside the Cortina strut casing, giving a modern sealed adjustable damper while retaining the original Ford strut.

Important

Series 1 Mk2 Cortinas normally use the earlier roller-bearing top mount and larger-diameter damper spindle. TAG1178 is not a direct fit to this arrangement without the appropriate top-out/adaptor bushes.
