Join our team at Retroford Limited as a Storeman / Warehouse Supervisor. We need someone diligent and organised to oversee our Goods In , Storage, and Dispatch efficiently. You’ll ensure accuracy and timeliness while maintaining excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage goods-in process, receiving items promptly and accurately from suppliers.
  • Conduct visual inspections and quality control checks on received parts.
  • Record incoming goods on internal database, maintaining inventory records.
  • Organise and store products effectively in the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with purchasing department to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Conduct stock counts and reconcile inventory levels.
  • Enforce proper stock handling procedures.
  • Coordinate with purchasing team to identify low stock levels where required.
  • Assemble kits and product bundles for customers and stock.
  • Oversee picking and packing of orders for dispatch.
  • Conduct quality checks on picked stock and assembled loads.
  • Coordinate with logistics team for them to arrange delivery of packed orders.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in packing process.
  • Assist with loading/unloading delivery vehicles safely.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with other duties and adapt to changes in working procedures.
  • Drive company van for parts delivery/collection.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid driving license required; forklift license advantageous.
  • Proactive mindset with ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Adaptability to changing responsibilities and work processes.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts would be an advantage.
  • Living within commutable distance of Corby.
