SPAX 28-stage adjustable eye-to-eye rear shock absorbers for early Mk1 Escort models and Escort Estate and Van applications.

Early Mk1 Escort saloons use an eye mounting at both ends of the rear shock absorber. Later Mk1 and Mk2 saloons changed to the stud/stem-type upper mounting, but the Estate and Van retained the eye-to-eye arrangement.
