Gates Ultimate Racing Kevlar Zetec Black Top/ST170 Timing Belt (Z104)

Gates RPM Racing high-performance timing belt for Ford Zetec Black Top and ST170 engines.

The Gates RPM range is designed specifically for high-performance engines where increased strength, heat resistance and durability are required. This belt is a direct high-performance replacement for the standard 129-tooth Zetec Black Top / ST170 timing belt and is suitable for both standard and highly modified engines.

Manufactured using a high-strength HNBR elastomer construction, the Gates RPM belt features aramid-reinforced teeth, a reinforced nylon tooth jacket and high-strength glass tensile cords to withstand the increased loads associated with high RPM, rapid acceleration and high-output engines.

Gates state that their RPM timing belts offer up to three times the heat resistance and can be as much as 300% stronger than a standard aftermarket timing belt.

IMPORTANT: Not suitable for earlier Zetec Silver Top engines.
